ABOUT JAVA

This island is the central of Indonesia,the place where the government rules this country. Java is the most populated place with 120 million of people settled in this island. It has three main ethnic groups:the Sundanese of West Java, the Javanese of Central Java and East Java, and the Madurese in Madura Island,each speaking their own language. The main entrance for any visitors to come into Indonesia is Jakarta,as a capital city,is a modern metropolis with all the problems likes urbanitation,traffic jams, and polution.
Java has some fine beaches and resorts. Pangandaran as a Java's premiere resort, Parangtritis in Jogjakarta, Karimunjawa Resort in Jepara and the Thousand Islands in just a few kilometres from the harbour of Jakarta. To discover the Jav anese cultures and arts,Jogjakarta and Solo are the perfect places to come. There you can find over the centuries temples and palaces influenced by Hindu-Buddhist and Moslem. Borobudur Temple is an architectural wonder and its nearby with the Hindu Temples Prambanan. If you like to track the nature,Ujung Kulon National Park is the best place. You also must to visit Mount Bromo because its beauty. Most travellers usually going through Java following the route of Jakarta-Bogor-Pangandaran-Jogjakarta-Solo-Mt.Bromo-Bali.
